چکیده
Surface characteristics of printing substrates are the utmost importance to all types paper that interact with ink. During processes, behaviour liquid phase (ink or dye) on is directly defined by cellulose-based surface. The printed ink spreads and penetrates more into fibres when surface rougher permeable. Contact angle measurements sessile drop method considered most appropriate for determining sheet energy. Paper as hydrophilic material has a high absorption rate resulting in low contact angle. objective this study was evaluate free energy laboratory-made papers containing straw pulp obtained from residues after harvest cultivated cereals Croatia (wheat, barley triticale). results promising usage manufacture paper.

Production of Shiitake ( Lentinula edodes ) Mushrooms in Lignocellulosic Residues
Lignocellulosic residues were tested as artificial log to mushroom production of Lentinula edodes. Three isolates of L. edodes were grown in substrates based on corn bog, and sawdust or bark of eucalypt, enriched with rice bran 20%. The biological efficiency (BE) were higher when corn borg and sawdust was used and the isolate UFV 73 was that presented well shaped mushrooms and higher productivi...

Wood rotting Basidiomycetes collected in the "Estação Ecológica do Noroeste Paulista", São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo State, Brazil, concerning Aphyllophorales order and identified as Coriolopsis byrsina SXS16, Lentinus strigellus SXS355, Lentinus sp SXS48, Picnoporus sanguineus SXS 43 and Phellinus rimosus SXS47 were tested for ligninases production by solid state fermentation (SSF) using wh...
متن کاملPotential of agricultural residues and hay for bioethanol production.
Production of bioethanol from agricultural residues and hays (wheat, barley, and triticale straws, and barley, triticale, pearl millet, and sweet sorghum hays) through a series of chemical pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis, and fermentation processes was investigated in this study. Composition analysis suggested that the agricultural straws and hays studied contained approximately 28.62-38.58%...
متن کاملFungal Bioconversion of Lignocellulosic Residues; Opportunities & Perspectives
The development of alternative energy technology is critically important because of the rising prices of crude oil, security issues regarding the oil supply, and environmental issues such as global warming and air pollution. Bioconversion of biomass has significant advantages over other alternative energy strategies because biomass is the most abundant and also the most renewable biomaterial on...
